Sons of Liberty Gun Works x Christian Craighead: The OB1 Rifle at GOALS 2025

At GOALS 2025 Media Range Day in Knoxville, TN, Tactical Playground HQ linked up with Sons of Liberty Gun Works to get hands-on with their Craighead Special Edition OB1 Rifle , a true collaboration with Christian Craighead, built to his exact fighting rifle specifications.

This 13.7” mid-length rifle is pinned and welded, tuned to run smooth, and finished in a custom Rhodesian-inspired camo with Craighead’s logos integrated into the design. Paired with a HUXWRX Flow 556K suppressor, the setup is clean, balanced, and impressively low in gas blowback.

We ran it on the range and… yeah.

It shoots every bit as good as it looks.

SOLGW and Craighead absolutely nailed the “do-anything” combat rifle concept.
