SOCOM Tech & Bolt-Action Brilliance: Disavowed Suppressor + Pristine MK3 at GOALS 2025

At GOALS 2025 Media Day, Tactical Playground HQ got behind two of the most jaw-dropping setups of the entire event , and they couldn’t be more different… or more impressive.

First up was the Disavowed suppressor system, tech originally developed as a SOCOM project before being licensed and refined for commercial use. This can is built to tame everything from .22LR all the way to .45-70 Gov’t, and it doesn’t just suppress sound, it dramatically cuts felt recoil. Shooting a .45-70 with this setup wasn’t just manageable… it was shockingly pleasant.

Then we stepped over to the Pristine Arms MK3 bolt-action rifle, one of the smoothest actions we’ve ever felt. With rails removed and the action locking directly on the lugs, it cycles like glass. Add in interchangeable bolt faces, a match-grade trigger, and a Heller Arms barrel, all tucked into the Myth carbon fiber stock, and the whole package came in lighter than competitors’ carbon-barrel rifles , even with a steel barrel.

Two platforms, two very different experiences, both absolute standouts of the event.
