Our FAQ page has quick answers to the most common questions about Tactical Playground HQ, including training options, gear requirements, Skool courses, monthly competitions, Ace VR, and membership details, so you know exactly what to expect before you join.
Is this training for beginners?
Yes. We have a dedicated Foundations class and a beginner division in our competitions so you can build confidence before moving into advanced drills.
Do I need my own gear?
Eye and ear protection are required. We recommend bringing your own handgun, magazines, and safe holster. Limited rentals are available, contact us to reserve.
What’s included in the Skool courses?
Step-by-step video lessons, downloadable drills, community Q&A, and weekly challenges. You can post videos for feedback from instructors and other members.
How do the monthly competitions work?
We host a Foundations class and competition one Saturday a month with multiple stages. Divisions are based on skill level, and you’ll see your scores on our public leaderboard the same day. Inner-division options let you build confidence before moving into advanced drills.
What is Ace VR and why should I use it?
Ace VR is a virtual training tool for improving reaction time, target recognition, and decision-making. Through our affiliate program, you get discounts and bonus drills.
Can I just join the online community without attending in-person training?
Absolutely. Many members start online through Skool and join in-person when they’re ready.
Do you allow spectators?
Yes, as long as they follow all safety rules and stay in designated spectator areas.
Do you allow walk-ins for training?
No. All sessions require online registration in advance so we can manage safety and group size.
How do memberships work?
You choose a tier (Base, Plus, Pro) that covers clinics, Skool access, and competition entries. Memberships auto-renew monthly but can be paused or canceled with notice.
